NFC tags

Tap a tag. Start a session.

A SeshTime tag is a small NFC sticker you put on a piece of gear or a jar. Write it once from the app. After that, a tap with your iPhone starts a session.

SeshTime Log Session screen: a Winding down summary with 8 sessions this week and an 8.2 average rating, method buttons for flower, vape and edible, a recreational or medical switch, saved gear, and a Start session button.

Highlights

Works with common blanks

Compatible tags are NTAG213, NTAG215, and NTAG216. Use a blank tag you can write yourself.

Written from the app

Open tag setup in SeshTime and hold your iPhone near the sticker until it confirms.

Shortcuts automation

Prefer your own flow? Tags work with a Shortcuts automation too.

An open format

Tags use SeshTag, seshtag/1.0, so the format is documented rather than locked away.

The details

Private from the first entry.

Everything here stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. There is no SeshTime account and no tracking.

The tag holds a link, not your journal

A tag carries a seshtime.io link. Your entries stay in the app. This website keeps no database of tags.

A quiet fallback

If SeshTime is not installed, the link opens a short page on this site that does not print the tag’s identifier.

Written before seshtime.io?

Tags written before the move to seshtime.io keep the old address until you rewrite them.

Every sesh, remembered.

SeshTime is coming to iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. No account to create, nothing to track, and your journal stays in your iCloud.
